-'Stalker' or 'Solaris' by Andrei Tartovsky - I have become a Tartovsky fanboy and promoter, and these are probably the two best entries into his oeuvre. But only watch them when you're in the mood for a slow, long, meditative movie. And not when you're too sleepy, they are kinda hypnotic
